We are planning to go to Florida for a long weekend with Alan (who will be just under 6 months) next month. We'll be in the Pt. St. Lucie area visiting relatives, so we won't be doing tourist stuff per se. I'm wondering if anyone has any hints on flying/traveling with a baby. I do breastfeed (mostly) but will bring the Isis pump (or perhaps just the pump part of my PIS, not sure). We haven't started solids yet, but I may start some cereal within next month per pediatrician.

I want to borrow some summer clothes from a friend who had a baby last summer as what I've got for Alan so far is 6 month size which he may not fit 100% at that point.

I'm a little nervous about the trip, not flying itself but more if something happens with Iraq and we can't fly back. We'd be staying in a hotel so it could get expensive :( --- I'm thinking of trip insurance.
