War Nerves
Mar. 18th, 2003 10:18 amI just don't have a good feeling about things. Tommorrow is one of the days I work in NYC. I am seriously considering working from home tommorrow (even if I have to give an excuse about it.) I feel safer with Alan 5 minutes away in our small town, that wouldn't be an intended target (obviously if something happens in NYC, it could affect us). Our office is 9 blocks south of the Empire State Building, plus I go through Port Authority Bus Terminal and take the subway to get there. My husband works an hour away to the southwest, again in a place that I don't think would be an intended target (Most people think New Providence is in Rhode Island not New Jersey).
I hope the imminent war is brief, has few casulties and gets Hussain out. And that everyone I know is safe. (I found out a listowner I know is over there now.)
