Is it Monday?
Aug. 18th, 2003 10:27 amI had an eventful weekend as usual.
Saturday Am we got up. I was being lazy reading the paper, and DH had Alan. He fed him breakfast - vanilla pudding! Alan of course loved it, but it wasn't what he should have had :(
Later we talked to a lawyer about Alan's accident (we were seeing the lawyer with my SIL about a lawsuit she has, we were driving her there). There probably isn't much we can do unless we get the chair examined by an expert for 1500 and if Alan's top teeth come out. So we will wait and see. We can't really sue the sitter, she has no money or insurance.
Then we went to the Secacus outlets with MIL and SIL. Alan was a good boy, but got nothing. My SIL and I found stuff at the Liz Clairborne outlet. If I ever lose weight, I want to come back and get pants there.
I dropped MIL and SIL home and stopped at the 99 cent store. I bought Juicy Juice for .99 cents and 2 containers of Simply Potatoes mashed potatoes. We get them there all the time in the refrig section. When I got home our friend Bob had come by, he rang the door and before DH could get out of the bathroom, he left. DH was very puzzled. So we decided to clean. I sprayed the carpet with some Fresh and Clean pet hair remover - ack gag cough choke..it stunk. Our friend came back (he had a bathroom emergency, which is why he took off). DH and Alan left ASAP. I vaccuumed and left the patio door open and took off to a neighbors for a while also...it wasn't fun. I e-mailed the pet store and arm and hammer about it immediately.
Sunday, I didn't feel good. went to the doctor and had a sinus infection (I hadn't been feeling good Saturday). The ()@)!(# nasty stuff on the carpet hadn't helped. Got Rx for erithmoycin and am feeling better today but sound like a frog. We didn't do much Sunday otherwise. I did box up a lot of Alan's 6-9 month clothes. He won't fit them when it cools off. I hope the nearby church has a clothes swap this fall again, I have a lot stuff I don't want to keep I'd trade off.
Came into work today. Our phones are down and Verizon's been called (2 T1 lines down). Our netaccess was rerouted to our Virigina office, so I can write this. But IT didn't lose any data!
Still need to catch up on laundry :(
