Oct. 1st, 2003 10:31 amI started trying to do just one thing at night inspired by some fellow October02 list moms.
I got the dining room table cleaned up - it was a mess. I did dump some of the papers in the second bedroom, but even with a few things left on it, it looks better. Next target is the kitchen table :)
Alan was over by my cookbook bookcase and pulled a book out. He pulled out my Donvier Ice Cream maker cookbook (don't even think I have that anymore..wonder if I can find one on eBay). He does love ice cream, interesting that grabbed that one!
I guess I have to start putting onesies on him or using the stay tucks straps I got. When I dress him in a shirt/sweatshirt - if I lift him up, his shirt rides up and his tummy shows. It was ok in summer, won't be good when it gets real cold.
Last night, I was watching a little of "According to Jim". Part of the plot was that the little boy got a packers stuffed football from the vending machine instead of Jim's beloved bears. Anyway the little boy had a yellow shirt on with a bike on it - I recognized that shirt. It was a onesie Alan had from last year from Target! (I have it in my giveaway pile). How weird is that!
I nursed him to sleep last night as he wasn't into his bottle, putting him into crib was he was drowsy..he cried a little and fell asleep. He slept the whole night for a change. I got up to go to the bathroom, but he slept. He seemed in a good mood this AM, I think he needed the sleep.
