I'm bummed. The Sox lost. (Even though they scored a run while Alan had his bottle...I think this is 4 out of 5 or 5 out of 6 nights we've watched the game and someone scored between 9 and 9:30 - weird).

Boo Yankees.
Boo Fish.

Maybe the universe wasn't ready for the Cubs or Sox to be in the series. But it would have been nice to have ONE there (and the Cubs have it worse than the Sox, cause of the fan incidient).

Alan went to daycare today. He still was a little warm so I gave him Advil. He has a checkup tommorrow anyway. (The advantage of a private daycare, she was ok with him being there sick...not that I'd take him there very sick.) If I can get Alan to hold still long enough, the ear thermometer is pretty good. At least I can kind of take his temperature on the go, instead of undressing him for the rectal one. And now the adults in the house have one we can use also.

(Wonder if I could use it on Moxie the cat, not that I've ever needed to take his temperature?)

Hopefully, we'll find out today whether the new handyman will take the job. We changed a few things - the kitchen floor is getting ceramic tile, but we are just regrouting in the master bath (no retile the shower stall and new shower doors - we'll just retile the shower floor, that's beat). I would also like if we could get handheld shower heads in both baths, they aren't expensive.

After these projects are done, maybe WE will repaint the interior with white semiglosss. But I told DH to wait till spring so we can open windows :)
