Let's see:
Yesterday I had a quandry. My husband left me to drop off the gift for daycare - which was a large food basket. I had no idea how I'd get that, Alan, my purse, Alan's bag, and another package in the car. Solution - grab everything but the basket and go to the car in the parking lot. Put everything in the car, come back with Alan and then get Alan and the basket. I felt like I was in one of those chicken crossing riddles.
I'd left the station on the oldies station (WCBS-FM) and as I drove Alan to daycare "I think I love you" by the Partridge Family was on. Haven't heard that in ages.
I felt crappy coming home. Coughing a lot. Mark was all stuffed up - so I tried to get us to the doctor by 8 when they close. Got there about 7:50, the doctor had left. Took Alan and Mark home and I went to the ER because I thought my asthma was acting up. Well, it wasn't. Just a bad cough, keep taking the meds from the doctor (humabid and tri-tuss). Lots of sick babies there :( It actually went relatively quickly - I was home by 9:30. But the security there (Hackensack Hospital)isn't good, they have a temporary enterance due to construction, I felt I could have just wandered into ANYONE's room or sick area. I felt bad going to the ER for such a small thing (and I was afraid I'd be stuck there for HOURS behind someone with a heart attack!) - but if the doctor had stayed till 8 or at least had the phones on at 7:20 PM, I'd have gone there. Mark and I feel better today, I went to bed early - Alan's still ehhhh. His sitter is having company tonight 25 people (family). Mark volunteered to keep Alan home, but I figured he couldn't handle it. I may stop at one place tonight for a keyboard or present --- we have Valley Fair down the street (it's really the same as a Value City, but called another name for unknown reasons) - they have a leased toy department, maybe we can find something for tommorrow AM?
Its raining this AM. I actually was able to get munchkins for the office. I also stopped and got my monthly bus pass as it would be too crazy tonight to get it (I won't be back at work till 1/5...YEAH!!!!)
