We were going to go to my 20th college reunion in Worcester and then head to Boston afterwards for a day or so. But it looks like no one is coming from my class (major apathy plus a bungled promotional effort.) So we are considering alternate ideas.

We've thought of the PA dutch country. We were going to go June 11-14. If I can reschedule to the following weekend - it's the 250th anniversary of Intercourse, PA one of the most famous PA Dutch towns. I also saw there are working farms you can stay at. I don't think we'd do Hershey Park or Sesame Place, Alan's too young yet. What do others think? We need something within reasonable driving distance of Northern NJ.

I missed this - what did Jerri say that made her leave the stage?

It was not as bad as a day alone would be.
I went to supermarket in the AM, and got an iced dunkin donuts french vanilla coffee and a bagel with cream cheese. Got a few bargains - hefty 1 zip bags for .20 cents (on sale at .75 cents - with a .55 cent coupon on the box!)

Came home didn't do much, read the paper - then Mark came by briefly to use DSL and give me a mother's day card. He gave me a kiss on the hair on the way out :) I felt bad cause he needed a little PC help but I could go near him to help. So I looked at the problem site after he left.

I took some photos of some clothes I wanted to eBay. I also uploaded to walmart all the photos since the end of 2003 that needed printing - 100 photos. That felt semi-productive. I didn't feel as tired as yesterday. I'm sure I'll be my own zooming self soon.

Later on Mark came back after dinner. He brought me leftovers from Boston Market and some goodies from the dollar store, including artificial pink flowers from Alan. Awww.

I watched Survivor. Some of it I missed due to phone calls. But it was nice to be liked :)

Alan's been doing a lot with my MIL and Mark. So far I've heard he's tried to slide down the Little People Garage Ramp, handed his empty bottle back to my MIL, wiped his face with a napkin, said something like dirty when his diaper was, started using the rocking horse at my MILs, and eaten brie cheese. Tonight he took a walk with my husband around the block. They saw some kids playing basket ball. Alan kept saying ball ball and Mark had a hard time getting him to head home. Alan really likes playing ball. Perhaps, to my slight dismay, I've got a future jock :(

The worst mother's day wasn't today. It was in 1998. I didn't have a lot of friends, there wasn't much to do, and my grandmother decided to go out of town to visit her son (perfectly normal). So I had no one. Today I felt loved and liked even if people couldn't be with me :)

We'll celebrate our mother's day/my birthday/anniversary later in the week. I want to go to Cheesecake Factory. Cheesecake *IS* Alan's favorite. So we'll get one slice, and 3 forks - or 2 forks and Alan's hands!

It's supposed to be 85 Tuesday. I'm glad I'm off and can wear shorts. Its even supposed to get HOT for the weekend! It will be nice on Friday when I go back to the city for my follow up scan. But I can wear shorts :)
