Last night we wanted to go out to celebrate our friend's Ray's engagement. So we went with Ray, another friend Frank, Mark, and Alan.
We wanted to go to the newly reopened Olive Garden, but despite the fact it was made much bigger, people were waiting outside. In the heat on a Thursday night.
So we went to Sizzler. I think its so so, but Alan made a meal out of the salad bar stuff, especially the spaghetti and olives and cucumber. And we got him an ice cream cone. For some good reason their cones were particuarlly solid and the chocolate darker than usual, so it didn't melt all over him, he did good with the cone!
Then we saw there was a classic car show in the same mall. Alan seemed to like it - there was a Knight Rider car, a bat mobile and some late 50's cadillac that our Geo would fit in the trunk amongst others!
This weekend we aren't sure what we are doing tommorrow, perhaps go to a mall to stay cool. And I have to pick up a freecycled bedrail for my MILs house. We have a birthday party for a friend Saturday night and Sunday we will go to a buffet and hopefully peach picking with another friend.
