Weird

I may get together this AM with some local mom's for a playdate with Alan at a local sprinkler park.
One thing that struck me as odd with this particular group - a discussion of formula came up. I mentioned something casually about nursing Alan part time. No one else discussed nursing. (One of the children in the group is one of those rare cases that HAS to be on formula for allergic/dietary reasons.) But I found it odd anyway.

I have 2-3 mom's in my office who nursed (because they pumped at work - if they hadn't done it I wouldn't have looked in to it.)
The other mom's in my social circle adopted, so they used formula - (although there is one mom I'm not sure about and she didn't adopt - but her kids are 18 and 15 now.)
Most of my online friends through LJ or my mom's list nursed (or wanted or tried to at least). I think this was a big influence into nursing Alan.

Just a weird observation.

I have actually found a pair of PANTS at gap that fit.
These are a pair of nylony shorts. For some reason they have some elastic in the waist band and I can wear them (usually Gap pants don't consider anyone with a stomach or hips!)

They'll fit better when I lose weight. But for now I've got them on with a hand me down Aeropostal shirt and I feel a little "in"!
