I have actually found a pair of PANTS at gap that fit.
These are a pair of nylony shorts. For some reason they have some elastic in the waist band and I can wear them (usually Gap pants don't consider anyone with a stomach or hips!)

They'll fit better when I lose weight. But for now I've got them on with a hand me down Aeropostal shirt and I feel a little "in"!

That is SO TOTALLY why I buy Old Navy Yoga Capris. I won't be small again unless I get a tummy tuck. I have that extra saggy skin. My friend (she had 3 babies but no C-section) wears hip waisted pants and lets her tummy hang over - ugh! I will not do that, it's too uncomfortable and just - yucky.

YUCKY being the operative word. I wear a girdle just about every day.

I gave up on The Gap a long time ago. They DON'T design clothing for "real women".

Enjoy your new, "hip" outfit.

I don't think I've ever bought anything from the Gap in my entire life.

I buy there for Alan. And I have a purse from there (at least those are one size fits all shaped people...chosing a purse is a whole other subject - but size of a purse is a preference issue.)

What stores do design for real women anyway? I hate buying pants.

Even tops lately have been cutting much tighter than they used to be - I'm not that big (36C) - I've had to size up or not bother.

For pants, I'm fond of JCPenney and Sears. They are definitely carrying pants for those of us with asses like satellite dishes! I've got it all--huge ass, fleshy belly and thunder thighs. I can still find pants in those two stores that make me look--well, human, LOL.

For shirts, because I'm top-light (34C), I can shop in most places.
