Another day in the swamp

Alan surprised me by singing Elmo's World - at least saying it along with the theme on Sesame Street today.

My bus was stuck outside the Lincoln tunnel this morning for 10 minutes. Don't know why. Probably yet another stuck bus.

When I left Port Authority, I saw an Oriental (probably Japanese)man taking photos of his 2 adorable little girls (who were in matching red flowered sundresses). Legally, you can't take photos in the bus terminal (because of terrorists), it was kind of sad he shouldn't be doing it.

(I suspect he was Japanese, all Japanese tourists seems to take photos of everything!)

I wish I could figure out what to spend my little extra $ on. I'm pondering a backup system for my computer like a USB removable drive or a removable DVD burner. I want a new digital camera but am going to wait till the fall when the sales are better. (It's been 3 years, it's time to upgrade.)

What radio stations do you listen to or are preset in your car?

FM1- WPLJ (mix), WHTZ (top-40 more or less), WKTU (dance, sometimes I like it), Q104 (classic rock), WLTW (lite FM, but I needed something to replace WCBS-FM...)

FM2- I don't know, I don't use it.

AM- WABC (talk), WOR (talk), WCBS (news), WINS (news), WBBR (financial news)

What radio stations do you listen to in the house?

Don't listen much, but the clock radio is set to wake us with WBBR.

What radio stations do you listen to on the internet?

Radio Paradise, WFUV, Q107 (classic rock from Toronto), BBC2 are the ones I've listened to. I can't listen at work, I have to use my MP3player/radio. And oddly enough Q104's site is blocked at work (and they are on the 6th floor of my building!)
