Katrina - random thoughts

lkeele is up in the NW corner - I think out of the path
samhamm and kimhatha are in Lafayette - also somewhat out of the way
I hope Judy Outlaw (her real name) on my cat list (cyberkat) is ok.
Also my cousins ex wife is from there. Michele's brother is in Montana and her dad moved there after his wife died. Still she may have some friends there - I checked with my cousin on this.
Probably the way the net works there's someone I may know or be a degree or two removed from.
It's weird. It's way worse than 9/11. It's weird to have the warning and it is a scenario that's been thought about - and no one to blame (hurricanes happen) - you can fault the preparedness but not the event itself.
