I just read they are ordering a manditory evacuation of the Florida Keys. Immediately I think of someone who was on my cat lists (where I lurk now as I'm catless) and e-mail to find out if she's still there.

It's weird when something happens - my head starts looking to see if I know anyone *there* via the Internet!

Pending Storm

First of all it has the same name as someone I know (who is originally from Argentina)
Second it's aimed at the keys - where I used to know someone via the net - don't know where they are now though.
Third its headed for Galveston/Houston - I have 1 sort of family member there and a lot of LJ friends such as tabbyfoo, keri80 and a few others. Or if it hits Louisiana - it could affect samhamm, kimatha and lkeele


Does it pass anwwhere near Bush's ranch - probably not :(
