- I once ate 3 meals in 3 different states in one day - MA, NH and CT.
- I've been married twice.
- I never thought I'd be raising an only child, let alone a boy.
- I was interviewed by John Tesh when he was a local reporter for WCBS TV in NYC for a story on violence on TV in 1979. My mom was active in PTA's anti-tv-violence campaign at the time.
- My great aunt's widowed daughter in law married Lee Eastman, the late Linda Eastman McCartney's dad. I only met the daughter (Monique) though.
- I have a painting of my mom when she was 4 hanging in our living room - I used to think it was me.
- I've only travelled to 2 countries outside the US - Canada and the Bahamas on a cruise.
- I drive a pink car - a 1995 Ford Escort (it's actually sunrise canyon red).
- I was on jury duty in NJ on 9/11/01, and not at work in NYC across from the trade center that day.
- I've only travelled as far west in the US as Chicago.
- I have used e-mail since 1980 (although it was intracampus only at that time).
- Searching usenet groups in google will find an entry from me in 1984 - I worked for 3 weeks at a Unix startup then.
- The longest I've had a job is a little over 4 years.
- I have sold a house (my late dad's) but have never bought one.
- I got my first drivers license in New Hampshire where I didn't have to make a 3 point turn on the road test.
- I have been on jury duty 4 times in 3 states (MA, NY, and NJ). I have never been on a trial though.
- Both my parents died from smoking (emphasema).
- I met my husband on a jewish singles website (www.thejewishpeople.org)
- The day I was born 5-19-62 was the hottest May 19th on record in NYC.
- I have never seen a professional football game or an NBA basketball game (seen WNBA and the Nets way back in their ABA days.)
