Quicky update
Nov. 28th, 2005 07:33 amDropping a note before getting ready for work.
So much to write about lately - thanksgiving (nice at my cousins), black friday (survived), moving Alan into his own room (more or less, we are finally putting him in bedroom #2 and moving the office stuff out), his assesment by the school district (perceptive and expressive language delays). We even had success in getting actifed at Walmart on Saturday night - they make you get the name brand at the pharmacy but leave the generic right on the shelf. And they didn't even care that we bought 3 boxes of it (and some other stuff).
But until we can move the computers OUT of the bedroom (we have a wireless network card on order), I won't be on much at night.
Alan did say a real funny thing this weekend. My dad left me his IRA. Every year, I get a distribution from it. I always put it away for Alan since I think that's what my dad would have done had he lived to meet Alan (he died in March 2002). We were trying to decide the best way to invest it this year - Mark said to ask Alan. So I asked Alan what I should do with his money. He replied "train table!" Now that we are making space in HIS room, it is a possibility in a month or so!
