Homework

Alan had a note in his bag from his preschool today - cut out a picture of something with a letter M on it and send it in.

So I just looked through a bunch of magazines and catalogues found: milk, muffin, mashed potatoes, monster, monkey, man and money. I'll let him pick one of them. Of course it occured to me I could do this the fast way and just printed photos from the internet...but I decided to do the assignment "literally" and do it the old fashioned way.

Alan saw his great uncle tonight as he was visiting my mother in law. So he saw both of his "great"s within 36 hours - pretty cool considering they live in Florida and Connecticut!

More trip info later...in short, Motel 6 is bad, Alan doesn't like airline flights and there isn't much to do in the Treasure Coast of Florida - although there is 1 good Chinese restaurant and thrift shops! And Palm Beach County has a really nice nature center with lots of birds and interesting trees with a 1.5 mile boardwalk through the swamp/marsh lands.
