Got up and was able to get the car dropped of at the dealer this AM. I’m glad I’m getting the A/C checked today as it is getting hot this weekend. My MIL is probably glad she called the A/C repair place this week also – they finally told her she couldn’t get parts for her very old (20+ years?) central heat and A/C, so she finally decided to replace it. They say that some of the duct work is too small – but those are to rooms she doesn’t use much, so she’s going to leave it. It takes her forever to make up her mind about house stuff (took like 2-3 years for her to get the house new siding), I’m glad this is over with.
Still got condo stupidity. Someone left a note last night complaining our mailbox was left unlocked (we have a row that mounts in the wall) and that’s messy. We don’t leave it unlocked, the postman does as we get a lot of mail, and he’s done that for years. Someone needs a life! We think this is the same person who has complained about laundry room noise and Alan being unsupervised to the condo. Our hearing was to be the 22nd, but we asked for it to be 29th (we had plans) – but the condo still won’t give us the details of the complaint or who complained. I suspect we will get legal counsel (anyone know an NJ lawyer?) on this. I’ve been trying to be nice and neutral in dealing with the condo now whereas Mark wants to act like a bulldog and go on the attack or defense.
Our summer plans keep changing. Baltimore was postponed to the fall, because I have a very fancy summer work family outing to go to on the 24th. And our weekend at the campground with Mark’s uncle and SO was pushed back one week to the 3rd weekend in July. It’s weird to have such a blank summer so far. Hopefully we’ll get to the beach. But the only other plans are toward the end of summer – Musikfest in August in Bethlehem, PA, Little Ferry family fun day the last Saturday in August and 2 nights camping near Ithaca, NY Labor Day weekend.
