Can anyone help with a wireless network problem?

The wireless network between my husband's PC and mine isn't working.
It will see the network, but even after entering the password to our
network, it will not connect. It won't even connect to the unsecured network
it sees - I got it to connect briefly to another unsecured network it saw
though.

I changed the network password as I forgot it and have been entering the
latest 10 hex digit password on my husband's computer.

Any idea how to trouble shoot this - it was previously working fine. He needs *HIS* computer by tommorrow night (and I am tired of sharing!)

Still overwhelmed at work (as my cat list used to say - I'm in the swamp (derived from swamped)). Doesn't help that a co-worker is off for a few days as his younger son is hospitalized (breathing issues). And my husband is upset that the wireless connection from his computer stopped working (I'm the family PC help desk) - I have to get it working so he can do some work tommorrow night :(

Did stop to vote tonight on the way home. Voted all Democratic and yes to all ballot questions (and yes, I did think about it before coming to that decision). Had dinner at my MILs - the usual beef stew. Was able to finally drop off Alan's summer clothes in her garage for storage and get an empty tote for mine.

Tommorrow I'm working from home due to Alan's teacher's conference. I'm thinking it will be good as he's much better in school than home :(
