Today is Alan's last full day of school for the year - the next 4 are 1/2 days. So basically I am making lunch every day from now until sometime in September, with a 1 day break next week (at a friends) and a week break in August (daycare camp in town, they provide lunch for 3.00, I suspect it's the same lunch places that  provided hot lunch to  the other daycare in town that  he went to from age 2-6. I'll avoid peanut butter until he goes to daycamp - I'll find out from them if there are peanut issues in his group. (In the aftercare there is an allergic child, I'd rather not chance it and make Alan eat alone.)  I think Alan will cream cheese and grape jelly sandwhiches at least  (yeah!)

Our so-so season of t-ball ended just as blah as it started. We got about 1/2 inning in Saturday and it poured. DH wanted to leave before the game was called to make Alan's party at 1. So although I get his photos - we left his glove behind. I don't have the coaches number (lost it), so I have to dig for it. I also don't know if there is a makeup or a team party or trophies - no one has called.   I'll give it another try if he goes up to the first level of baseball next year - another year of t-ball wouldn't do much for him and he'd probably be one of the oldest on the team.  I am looking forward to soccer though - the town league has e-mail and answers it - unlike the Little League with no e-mail and no web presence. And maybe Alan's pre-k coach will coach again (we liked him).

ZZZZ...one of these days I need to sleep and not get up early :(

So far we are manging with the morning TV. Either Alan wants to play on club penguin or he watches tv on demand (but I have to start that). I guess we are off Nickelodeon for the summer in the morning. It's still on in the evenings/weekends :(

Alan has been spending a lot of time drawing Pokemon from various library books - I think his favorite is the "Visual Guide to Pokemon" - I have to return it soon, will try to get it used - it's from one one of my favorite publishers DK Books and has tons of Pokemon info.

Anyway - back to work.
