Thanks for posting it -- I'm just astonished and fearful. I know this is naiive, but I don't know why certain people hate me so much, when I've never done anything to them. Apparently my mere existence is offensive enough.
In my opinion, everyone should at least be questioned, if not thoroughly searched, before getting on a plane. I know this would cause even more delays than there are now, but isn't safety worth the extra hassle? Plus, there'd be no cries of "Racism!" if everyone were treated equally. I've heard that this is standard practice in Israel, where they have a lot of experience in dealing with terrorism.
What I really want to know is, if the authorities had real reason to suspect that this was a "dry run," why didn't they immediately add those men's names to the terrorist watch list so that they'll be watched and interrogated any other time they attempt to fly in the US?
