Weekend

Quiet weekend - Rested a lot.
Went to Chinese buffet on Saturday and Walmart. This is the only Walmart in our county and the closest one (10 miles) to NYC, so getting out of the parking lot isn't fun :(
Saturday night friends came other including our friends with the 5 month old son. They used my new changing table. When they were removing the diaper, I asked if he was going to leak...and voila he did (so I had to rewash the changing table pad).
Today my husband cleaned, I did the wash and rested (kept my feet up mostly).
Tommorrow 8:15 I have a ob/gyn appointment with sonogram. My mother in law is driving me there - hopefully Alan hasn't gotten to 9.4/9.5 lbs and I do not have to have a c-section. He hasn't shown any signs of exiting though - he's due the 20th :(

If you end up needing a c-section, I'd be happy to talk about it with you. I'm not trying to be pushy or anything, but I hear a lot of pregnant Moms say they don't want c-sections, and I am so amazingly happy with mine. Of course it was an emergency, so there wasn't much I could do, and I wouldn't encourage women to have elective surgery that they don't need. But pretty much everything I heard about c-sections ended up being untrue, and I am loving my speedy recovery and gloriously intact birth canal. Anyway, it's food for thought! C-secs aren't bad.
