I get home tonight - Mark had picked up Alan from daycare and was feeding him watermellon and yakking on the phone (Mark is a chatter!)
I go through Alan's bag and find an accident report.
Alan had taken a toy from another child and the other child bit his right hand. They cleaned his hand and put antibiotic cream on it. (Funny I posted to
ginky that I'd ask if my daycare used first aid cream, I didn't expect to find out today!)
They wrote on the form that they spoke to the parent at pickup. The incident happened at 10 AM. Mark picked up Alan at about 5:40. No one spoke to him (but he didn't say anything).

I'm not upset about the bite (his hand looks ok) or not being called then and there, but someone should have said something at pickup.
And today I forgot to put his lunch (boston market leftovers in a tupperware dish) in the bag. When I got home I found an unopened yogurt and applesauce in the bag. If I'd forgotten lunch, should they let me know? Did they give him lunch (today is pizza). Must find out tommorow.
Went to Shoprite tonight after supper. On the way back, we were stopped at the light exiting the parking lot. Alan was having a good time smiling and waving to an older woman in the passenger seat of the car next to us. She seemed as happy as he was - Alan was even waving my hand (Alan's in the middle back seat, I sat next to him, Mark was driving).
