NBC, ABC developing 9/11 miniseries

No, I won't watch it. However, if were historically accurate (they appear to be focused on the background of how 9/11 came to happen not the days events itself) - it would be something I would let Alan watch when he's old enough.

Is nothing sacred? I just don't think it's fair to the victims of that event to dramatize it as a miniseries. I understand that it's more of a "how it happened" and not a "what happened"...but still. I wouldn't want to be reminded over and over of how my loved ones died.

Another thought: Wasn't folks jumping out of the WTC dramatic enough? Heck, it was all the drama I need for this lifetime, thank you.

I am not sure, but I believe initially the footage of people jumping was not shown in the US on the news out of sensitivity.

I am so glad that fate had me in NJ that day and not anywhere near the WTC.

I think you're right. I saw still pictures of it, but honestly...just hearing about it on the radio was enough. I have a pretty graphic imagination.
