2 Week Checkup (Me)

I had my 2 week checkup with the doctor tonight. I *had* to see the one who did the c-section, who is NOT my favorite - probably a good doctor, not the best bedside manner in my opinion. Anyway, my incision is healing fine, its up to me about driving (yeah!). No more percoset, I took the last one tonight - I think I'll be fine on tylenol or ibuprofen. I asked about a repeat c-section, he thinks I'd have to have one unless I had a very small baby. I wasn't thrilled about that, but I didn't feel it was worth arguing about. I do think there are some people who do need them, I didn't think I was one of them - anyway I don't know if I will have another kid (if it will happen) - but maybe next time I might have labor pains...
Oh - I am 2 lbs above pre-pregnancy weight. Since this measurement was taken with me wearing a sweatshirt and sneakers and after dinner, I bet I really could be below it :)
Oddly enought when I was there tonight I was told the insurance company denied my Lamaze class bill. (I had gotten a rejection, but wasn't sure what for). Considering that DH didn't like the class, and I didn't use any of it, I feel I should have gotten my money back - but I paid the bill :(
Everyone wanted to see Alan at the dr's office. I didn't bring him because it was cold and my MIL drove me there. I did bring photos though. Next visit I'll bring Alan and leave a nice photo.
When I came home DH was all confused. He wasn't sure where the diaper stuff was and Alan had squirted. But no harm appeared to be done, even if the diaper was on backwards (I need to spend more time with DH on this - he's good with bottles and burping though.)
I think Alan's due to be feed, better go...
