Saturday morning I decided I should switch Alan into his 2t winter coat as the 18-24 was getting way too small. I decided this as we were getting ready to go out for the day.

As I took it off and went to get the 2t one, he said "MINE!"

 

Tonight as I was putting laundry away and making the bed, I noticed Alan was playing with his gymboree clown puppet. My MIL and I had gotten it when he was maybe 2 months old, but never paid any attention to it (he'd throw stuffed animals). I'd left it in/near his crib/bed forever. He was holding it and babling away. Later after his bath he even was kissing it in play!

 

 

Maybe his stuffed animal collection will finally get some use!

I've noticed that Ryan is taking a interest in a lot of toys that he previously ignored, even though they were given/purchased for him in the recommended age range.
