Alan wore a nice Naartjie sweatshirt (gray with stripes) and jeans to daycare today.

Today they decided to use PAINT! It's all over the shirt :( I wish I'd known, I would have sent a less nice shirt.

But tonight our good friend helped us hook up the new dvd/vcr we'd bought in November. It's all set and while packing up the old one to toss out, I noticed something rattling in it - it was the Shrek 2 DVD that had been missing forever. Somehow I suspect Alan put it in - but we needed to upgrade anyway!

Get some of that Oxy Clean spray and spray it all over the shirt and let it sit there for about ten minutes and then wash it. It will get it all off.

And daycare use water based paints so the paint should come off.

Tried the oxyclean spray, but I *think* it may have damaged the fabric (white spots). Will rewash just to see. (Naartjie uses funny dies that don't mix with oxyclean I've been told :( )

I love it when I send K in a white shirt on what ends up being spaghetti day... Like they can't publish a menu?

My place publishes a menu. Same thing every week:
chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, pizza, macaroni and cheese, hot dogs.

I do manage to get the pizza out though.

I leaned quickly that nice clothes should never go to daycare. Though that's pretty irrelevant now that all T's clothes have superheroes on them and J is so picky we let her wear whatever she will agree to without screaming the house down!
