We're really doing the best we can. The Governor has pledged every penny of our budget surplus to Katrina victims, if that's what it takes. This is the first time I've been really proud and pleased with our Republican governor--as I said on my blog, mark it on your calendars!
The people are everywhere. We're feeding them in our church, putting them up in our homes, providing clothes and toiletries and other neccessities...and it never feels like enough.
