Friday Five time :)
Mar. 14th, 2003 01:01 pm1. Do you like talking on the phone? Why or why not?
Usually.
2. Who is the last person you talked to on the phone?
A (most likely) sales call for my husband. When I said he wasn't home, they said they call back. This was about 1 1/2 hours ago.
3. About how many telephones do you have at home?
Three. Cordless in the kitchen, corded in the second bedroom, and fax/answering machine in the master bedroom.
4. Have you encountered anyone who has really bad phone manners? What happened?
I hate people who don't return calls. I can't think of anything specific for this question.
5. Would you rather pick up the phone and call someone or write them an e-mail or a letter? Why or why not?
E-mail. Have reached corporate headquarters this way for complaints. Not usually as lucky with snail mail or phones

2. Who is the last person you talked to on the phone?
My boss, who told me that one of our local newspapers wants cost data for our city mayor and council back about four years. sigh.
3. About how many telephones do you have at home?
Two. A cordless and a phone in the bedroom.
4. Have you encountered anyone who has really bad phone manners? What happened?
I can't stand it when people eat while they're talking to me on the phone (smack, chomp, gulp) - or when they interrupt.
5. Would you rather pick up the phone and call someone or write them an e-mail or a letter? Why or why not?
E-mail. I can massage e-mail until it comes out the way I want, whereas sometimes I don't say things very well the first time around.
