The post office just sent someone here to PICK UP A PACKAGE!

I'm trying to get one delivered! I'm arguing with a supervisor now, at least someone has found out the listed phone numbers don't work!!!!!

And the post office has the worst voice response system - I'm saying "help" "help" "human being" into the phone and got my co-workers alarmed.

And after speaking to a supervisor, I got on hold and got disconnected!

I am really, really p*ssed off right now!

You mean you actually have to speak words into the phone - you don't "press one for blah blah blah"? *collapses in laughter* I haven't encountered that system yet! It gives you the option of saying "human being"? *chuckles again* No wonder your co-workers were slightly alarmed.

No it doesn't give you a "human being" option - I was being desperate!

It would be much simpler if you could just call a specific post office, but bureaucracy doesn't understand it.

Actually, I do believe you can call a specific post office (I've done it before.) Look for it on the USPS website... you can indeed call specific post offices.

You probably can call the post office (I spoke to 10036 and 10013 today) - but the numbers given on the site for 10013 (both offices) don't work.

WTF! That... figures. Heh. Anyway, even if you could call them, that still doesn't excuse how they were treating you. Their website is crap besides. Neary impossible to find anything on there.
