One of those not quite right days

lesliepearFell asleep with Alan around 9:30 last night. Probably needed the sleep. Woke up around 2:20 in the AM, took my thyroid medicine and went back to sleep. So when I got up, I could have breakfast, no waiting an hour. Nice :)
Alan had his school photo shoot today. I'm glad I got him the outfit like this:

although he has this shirt:

but the pants are a 3t. Even though 3t is supposed to be cut bigger for diapers, Alan fits fine in a 3 with his skinny rear (like my husbands). So I had to adjust the waist a lot.
I then tried to cover up his red marks on his forehead. I used the dermablend I'd gotten to cover my thyroid scar - but when we got outside, I saw it was way too dark. I think it will be ok in a photo, but if the marks remain bad in time, I'll get some dermablend in the right color for him. (dermablend is more long lasting than regular foundation).
While walking this AM through the Times Square area, ABC-TV was giving out promotions for their American Inventor show on tonight. It was a tshirt squished into a lightbulb shaped plastic package. It said something like if someone hadn't invented this, I'd be topless with the show's name and today's date on it. Well, it was free anyway.
I just called casual corner to see if I could get the 23.00 late fee removed as my last payment was a few days late. Nope, now that the store is closed they can't do that. (First call was to someone with an Indian accent, supervisor sounded American). (Yes, 23.00 is the amount). I just think they are being greedy since the stores are all closed now. I'll pay and write it off as live and learn. And I'd better pay all my bills tonight.
Otherwise it's a cold same old, same old day here.
