Yesterday I had a package shipped to work (a cute 2ndhand shirt for Alan). I lost it on the way home, probably leaving it on the bus. I've called it into lost and found but it may be gone. I hope it didn't get blown up or opened as a suspicious package.

Last night I went to the eye doctor (just a checkup) - I did need a new prescription which is good since I need new glasses to replace the broken pair. Having company insurance that pays 150.00 a year on glasses/contacts is nice. Then I went to Gymboree and redeemed my gymbucks (25.00 free if you buy 50.00 of stuff). So he got a cute towel, 2 pairs of pjs and socks. I am still not sure if he will be a 3 or 4 by summer, so I'm afraid to buy much more summer stuff. Plus he has a lot bought on sale already and the Naartjie line out is really really cute. The socks will fit sometime, and the PJ's don't have to fit exactly.

This morning Alan slept till almost 8 (he was up late). He was hard to dress because of that. He had juice but looked tired when I dropped him off.

In the final day of our color challenge we have

Me: Mint green solid old navy long sleeve t, lee jeans (which I need to loose weight in - they used to be loose), white with green/blue socks
Alan: Green old navy long sleeve t that says smart guy, black wrangler jeans, dark green gymboree socks

Both of us wearing old navy shirts was unintentional!

No real plans this weekend - mamogram saturday AM (otherwise I'd have to wait forever to schedule it) and dentist Sunday (cleaning that's been cancelled a few times with scheduling issues). There was a consignment sale I'd heard about in Ramsey, but am not sure it is on. And a flea market in town to check out. We may visit my MIL and SIL also.

I can't wait for Spring to show up.

(Ack, I just spilled soda on my shirt...one of those days!)

How sad you lost the package in the bus.

Thanks. I'm just glad it wasn't very valuable.
Or that anyone thought it was dangerous.

That's sad about the package. I'm with you though...sping, paging spring...come here spring! (It visited and the trees started blooming, but then went away again)

I know I'm in Cali where we are sheltered as far as inclement weather mostly, but it has been a bad year for colds and flus (as preschool teacher I have the birdseye view of this!!) and I can't tell you how often this particular year I've heard parents, other teachers, the population in general, friends, even myself wish and look forward to the better weather....and this, I remind you, is in mostly pleasant Cali! I bet it is even more so of a fervent desire in your region!
