1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?
I'll count:
2 apartments in Queens, NY until I was 7
condo in Oceanside, NY until I was 18
college dorm (I'll count the 4 different rooms in the same dorm and the one summer session - one for each year) as one.

2 different appartments in North Reading, MA after college
My ex-MIL's house in Staten Island, NY
My apartment in Staten Island
My apartment in Roselle Park, NJ
Our condo in Little Ferry, NJ
Total is 10 (or 14 if you count each dorm room seperately!)
2. Which was your favorite and why?
I think I liked my Staten Island apartment best as it had central air, its own washer/dryer and a walk in bedroom closet. The one bedroom I had in North Reading with my ex was also nice. One interesting fact is that all the apartments I lived as an adult in were rented condos (even my current home was built as apartments).
3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why?
Exciting, get to set up shop in someplace new. Its stressful actually doing the move.
4. What's more important, location or price?
Price.
5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?
The house would have a nice new kitchen and bath, a walk in bedroom closet, at least 3 bedrooms (one for us, one for Alan, one for an office). It would have character - something archetecturally interesting like perhaps a porch or tudor style. It would have a small yard where I could grow tomatoes. A jaccuzzi would be nice and perhaps a sun porch were my cats could hang out. And its own washer and dryer, no more $$ for laundry.
