I'm starting to feel better today. Maybe the z-pack is finally working. Or I'm getting enough sleep (I'm going to bed with Alan around 9:30 - yes, in the same bed - no use to move him until Mark and I are feeling ok.)

Looking forward to the weekend - 1/2 way there already.

Pondering the thought of buying a house in the town we are in and not the one we've wanted to move to - both pros and cons. Want to ask Mark later.

Concerned about Mark's uncle's SO (Elaine). Conflicting info on her cancer - don't think it's curable, but the extent and quality of her life seems unclear. So sad, she's only 70. I hope it can be controlled for a long time though. I'm getting medical info like 3rd hand - from Mark and his mom from his uncle so who knows what is really happening. They haven't been up to a visit lately - I hope they will be up to using their trailer at the campground this summer, Alan and I liked it a lot.

Glad you are on the mend! I can't describe how ticked I still am that I had to take 4 PDOs (we don't have sick & vacation days, just PDO's) when I got a nasty flu a couple months ago.

They switched us to the PDO system this year - effective 1/1, but didn't bother to TELL us till early January. Some people gained days, but I lost a few. I hope I don't need any thyca treatment this year, but if I do, I'll be sure to get medical leave - I don't want to waste PDO on that!

Me too. I've been sick since the end of the day last Tuesday :)

I'm prone to needing anti-biotic on colds due to my asthma(*), I'm just wondering if z-pack isn't the one for me anymore.

(*) Yes, I know anti-biotics are for bacteria not viruses (colds), but with asthma I don't need any ick dripping into my lungs.
