My husband needs to record something on TV on 6/16 to be put on a website (permission has been obtained).

We only have a VCR - what is the best way to do this - can someone get it off a TiVO recording? I have suggested getting an offical copy of the program from the producers which could be on a DVD.

I wish I knew. We don't have tivo so that route is foreign to me. We used to have our computer hooked up to the television cable and could watch tv on the computer too. We recorded a couple of shows onto the computer that way. It required a couple of programs to make the tv viewing possible and then to be able to record it though. I don't remember which programs those were.
