Well it's a wet rainy Friday.
Still no progress on Alan's school transportation issue. Again, it's being tossed back to me with little help from the district. Alan happened to get a packet for a public school fundraiser with a PTA representative. I called her and at least a message has been left for the new president who may not know about the school's voice mailbox. I don't know why it's so hard to get hold of the PTA here - Mark thought about contacting the NJ State PTA even. Growing up in Oceanside, NY they put out a directory every year of the staff and PTA. I remember chuckling every year at the teacher's first names (there was a Blossom Ritter!). Granted Oceanside had more schools physically than Little Ferry - about 9, but still....
I bid on the wooden bed. I think we'll win it. I'm thinking of getting a solid blue sheet set with comforter and then getting a Thomas or Cars set of sheets for a spare. We'll need 2 sets and if I make the solid one the primary, it will last him longer in terms of design.
Ordered from Gymboree last night. Actually twice as the first one I cancelled due to sending it home by mistake.
Tommorrow we go to Baltimore - Mark, myself, Alan and MIL. We plan to meet
luscious_purple at the aquarium.
Spec review meeting coming up - got to print documents - and wake up!

Date: 2006-09-15 03:50 pm (UTC)The bed idea for Alan sound good to me. We have a bunch of sheets for both kids because we are totally lazy when it comes to laundry.
Have fun in Baltimore.
