Turkey Day

lesliepearWell, we survived Alan's dental visit yesterday. Both of us held him. So he is cavity less and we are out 112.xx after insurance.
Today, we are going to my cousins at 5 for dinner. So we had time to kill this AM.
We went to Big Lots (got a blood pressue monitor and 2 packs of blank paper...so exciting), Dollar Tree (assorted food, we had a discover card coupon for 10% off on 15.00 there), and Block Buster (return and get DVD's, plus have them open the one that didn't have the security thingie removed we got earlier in the week.) I wanted to go to Kmart, but Alan wanted to go home.
Then later I went to the supermarket to get dessert (apple pie, cake) and soda (.79 cents for Pepsi 2 liter).
Alan has amazingly gone to the potty 2x by himself today (no one took him)! Still need to convince him to sit on it for #2 though. Maybe I will actually start to get done with training pants someday and Alan can get into the 4 year old room at daycare!
Did a little Black Friday Shopping online - 2 DVD Players for MIL and SIL, and my Olympus SP-320 camera from Office Max (for Chanuka). Camera's on back order, but since I've been thinking about a new camera for a long time now, I can wait a few more weeks.
Have my plans pretty much set for tommorrow - mostly techie type stuff.
Got to go - DH's calling me!
