I find the name of the Chicago Bear's Coach amusing: Lovie Smith. Sounds like the nick name for a tiny tike, not an NFL coach.
We were lying in bed with Alan last night and Mark asked him what did he think love means. After a few minutes he replied "Toys!". The minds of 4 year olds!
Yesterday, we gave Alan my husband's old Hot Wheels (from the late 1960's and early 1970's - they are redline models). These are not in collector condition, but I kept them from Alan because I was afraid of the possibility of lead paint on them (I think a few of them were repainted badly at one point). Boy are they sturdier looking than today's models. Alan wants one of those hot wheel tracks where the cars crash into each other - I hope these older ones don't total the new ones in a crash!
I still wish I could make my toy idea - a generic, simple race track for hot wheels, matchboxes or any die cast cars. I know Little Tykes made one many years ago, I wonder why it didn't work out.

We skipped the freezing rain predicted for today, but hear that cold is coming this week. It's all our friend Cliff's fault. He is living in California now, but last year he came back into a blizzard. And he's back now. Meanwhile California has had weird weather since he went there about 2 years ago!
Yesterday I stopped at a Target after dropping my SIL off in Jersey City. This Target has a lifetime supply of hats, gloves, scarves, snow boots and sleds at 75% off. Unfortunately (or fortunately) we don't need any.

Then the pieces fall off when the kids try to play.
my oldest son had the same mountain you sent the link to. Not sure whatever happened to that.
I think we got rid of it when we moved. I remember it taking up a ton of space.
