Alan has his 100th day party next Wednesday and he has to bring in 100 things. But the 100 things must fit in a ziploc bag the teacher gave us (I think it's a sandwich sized one). So that ruled out his idea of bringing in 100 Hot Wheels! (I think he really has that many). Fortunately, this also rules out his other idea of 100 bakguans (which he doesn't have!)

Any suggestions?

Any of the above. Wes actually brought in 100 of those little flat-bottomed glass pebbles that you often see in net bags in dollar stores. They were cobalt blue and turquoise and clear and green. I volunteered in the classroom to help with some of the 100th Day activities (Livvie came with and had fun!) last Friday and my activity was to have them put one of each of their objects they brought on a grid with 100 squares numbered 1-100..and then I read them the story The Wolf's Chicken Stew. A couple of the kids hadn't brought stuff in or saw Wessy's glass pebbles and wanted to use them so I let them. heh. They'd all made 100th Day hats and so I had them put their hats on the table and everytime the word "hundred" came up when we were reading the story, they had to put their hats on. A good time was had by all. :)
