I love the things you post! I couldn't possibly read everyone's but definitely interesting to see what people ate!
I've only found three weird foods, thus far, and I've only realized the might be weird because of John's reaction, LOL. (and John'll eat anything) Pork and Beans can ONLY be eaten with a spoonful of mayo mixed in. And artichoke is boiled in water and then eaten with mayo. Mind you I HATE mayo on everything but can only eat those things with mayo. And, also tortillas fried crispy with butter and sprinkled (slathered) with sugar.
We'd also take the top roman noodles and mix them in cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup.
Fish sticks were only served with pastina and red sauce along with a side of canned peas. I serve this now to my kids b/c it is comfort food to me. They call canned peas Mama Peas.
Pastina with honey, milk and butter when we were sick
Tunafish with mayo, ketchup and relish.
Jeff's family used to fry slices of salami and wrap them around a gerkhin pickle.
