I gave Alan some pediacare last night. We were up around 2, and I put Alan in the crib so I could go to the bathroom (I always seem to need to go in the middle of the night) and DH came in. He took Alan to sleep with him in the other bedroom (I wasn't crazy about this, but let him). They both eventually got to sleep (I dozed right back off) and I was able to get up in the AM and take a shower/get ready with out Alan fussing (Most days DH leaves before me and I have to rush around in the morning).

I took Alan to daycare. He seemed confused as he hadn't been there since last Wednesday. Nadia will take care of him and I left his cold medicine and tylenol there.

I found this really good website on OTC baby medicines (part of www.askdrsears.com)
http://www.askdrsears.com/html/8/t089900.asp (Thanks [livejournal.com profile] ignu2k!!! )

Also, I had Alan weighed yesterday to check the tylenol dosage for him - he's 22 lbs - he was 17.6 at 6 months. (I think this makes him out of 6-12 months clothes by weight per the tags on them, hopefully they'll make it till the end of summer anyway)

I find that the length # is WAY more important than the weight # when it comes to clothing sizes. I bet he'll make it!

Thanks. I'll know his height on Saturday when he goes for the 9 month checkup. I suspect he's filling out not growing up at this point. (he was 25% for height at 6 months.)

Those height and weight charts caused me much anxiety during Aaron's first year.

I'd obsess because he was over in height and under in weight. The doctor kept reassuring me but I still worried.

Thank heavens by the time Hannah came along and tipped the charts at something like 125% for weight I was much more relaxed! I was able to deal with the fact that we (my family and MH's) are tall, big-boned people and that the charts are set up for the bell curve norm. Hannah slimmed down quite nicely in her fourth year and there was nothing to worry about. :-)
