I just did this over the weekend, but it's hard to find the people you know are on it. you need to have the email that was used to register or know first & last name to search for them. example: I just tried to use your lesliepear@livejournal.com and you didn't show up, and I don't know your last name to search that way.
so I'll send you an LJ email with my 'registered email' and you can add me if you want to. I was invited back in maybe February and didn't do it, and I found the email, but now I can't locate the 'friendster' identity of the LJ friend who invited me. I guess I'll just have to do the same thing with her, ask what email she registered with, or get her last name.

"needs work" -- that's certain.
I put "any John Candy" on the movies list and the search results came back with anything with John OR Candy (most often Brain Candy).
Most of the results are the 20-30 age range, too, but I'm hoping to find some more folks in the 40-50's.

another thing i hate about friendster = i'm married now ... if i really wanted to find anybody via friendster i would have to have two profiles. humph.
