I am guessing that VBAC stands for something like Vaginal Birth After Cesaerean.
AS I am not a doctor, have no medical training, etc, I have no idea if its a good idea or not.
However, I disagree with doctors mandating/dictating procedures without women having the ability to make an informed choice.
The key word there is informed.
keri80 lived on WebMD throughout her entire pregnancy, and was informed to the point that her doctors basically deferred to her in nearly everything, choice or procedures, drugs, etc.
In that instance, informed choice is the best.
However, in many instances, uninformed or "religious" preferences may interfere with making a good choice and it is important to realize that doctors are also the trained specialists, and should be listened to.
Get second opinions then make your choice, but don't just rule things out without consultation.
Regardless, I signed the petition because choice should be paramount to procedure.
