Alan went to the dentist Monday night. His top teeth tightened up (they were loose from his fall on 7/30). He can eat anything but chewy stuff (bagles). So now I can give him cookies/crackers...I was afraid to give him any because they weren't soft - so I'd break them into bits. No sign of any bottom teeth, the next ones will also be on top. We were late for a 7 PM appointment - thanks to NJ turnpike traffic for me on the way home and then had to wait. He was fastinated by a little African-American boy (maybe 5 or 6) who was there. I don't think he was used to that shade of skin.
Last night he was freaking out when I got home. He had been crying since being in the car coming from day care. Dh tried everything he knew - feeding, playing, trying to get him to nap. We had to resort to nursing him to "reset" him - he fell asleep for a bit. I hope he's naping enough during the day.
Last night was rough. We have a fax/speaker phone in the bedroom because of DH's work. Twice last night junk faxes came in. That isn't too loud, but both times the stupid machine jammed and started beeping. The second time (especially since I had to turn on the light to fix it) Alan woke up :(
We found a possible home for Inky, in upstate NY. We will drive her there Sunday. If it's bad, we'll bail of course. I am looking forward to having our bathroom with bathtub back - but will miss her. I think all 3 of us will take a nice bath Sundaynight...no bathing Alan in the kitchen sink!
