lesliepearDH has a sore butt right now (hemmoroid). One of the things that is helping is my Boppy nursing pillow. It has a hole in it and he sits on it - who knew it would come of out of "retirement" for this!
When I was at Toys R'US Saturday, I got some mega blocks cars for Alan on the B2G1F sale. I got 2 packages of various cars and one invidual car. We had one that Alan keeps dropping off the high chair tray. But all it does is come apart where it should, it has NOT broken (my MIL got this at a garage sale, I was glad to find more.)
Last night Alan and I went back to TRU to retrieve the debt card I left there Saturday. We looked around a bit afterwards. I got some Gerber food and onesies because they were on sale. We then looked at toys. There are SO many noisy toys. Alan did seem to like Hokey Pokey Elmo...but I finally found one I liked that wasn't noisy. Its wooden blocks that stack into a fire engine and it was for age 1+. Alan seemed to like it (or at least the baby on the box!)
We also went to Bed Bath and Beyond so I could get the vaccum I wanted. On the way out, I showed Alan the trash cans so he could play with the flap on the lid. I almost bought him one of the very small ones so he could play with it.
This AM I had to put a sweatshirt on him because it was 51 degrees. I guess getting ready will take longer now...socks, shoes and a coat. Summer's over :(
Oh, and Alan isn't sleeping well these days, goes to bed late (partially our fault) and we seem to be up quite a bit. I wish he'd sleep through the night. I think I'll sleep in the other bedroom tonight and see what happens. (His crib is next to our bed, although DH sleeps in the other bedroom..)
