Last night again I turned the game on while Alan had his bedtime bottle. This time the SOX scored a run and eventually won. Don't feel like a jinx anymore. But I can't do that again tonight, as the game is at 4.

But the NY Media is cocky. I heard a report today that started something like the Yankees hit a roadblock on their way to the series...I'm sure the Boston media had a totally different headline.

Go Sox.
Go Cubs.

I thought I was the only one left in this area that hadn't jumped on the Yankee bandwagon - glad to see there's someone else here rooting for the Red Sox. I'd love to see a Cubs/Red Sox series!

Never was a Yankees fan. Was a Mets fan as I used to live in Rego Park as a child, right near Shea. My dad's company had box seats, my dad took me a few times when the Cubs were playing. (He was a Cubs fan).

I did want them to win in 2001 but that was about it (I figured NY needed the win that year).
