Free Shoes :)

lesliepearA week or so ago I ordered a pair of 4.5 INFANT Merrill shoes for Alan from Sportsauthority.com because they were charging 19.99 instead of Nordstrom's 29 and had free shipping. I thought it odd that they only had 4.5 and 5.5 not size 4 and 5, but figured the 4.5 would be ok for the winter with socks.
When they arrived, I thought it was a big box for an infant shoe. I opened the box and it was a size 4.5 BOYS shoe. I can wear a 4.5 boys shoe as my womens size is 6 or 6.5 and boys run 2 sizes smaller. There was a small scratch in the suede on one side, so I decided to return them. I wrote some e-mails of complaint about the mis sizing and that I shouldn't have to pay to return them since the website was wrong.
I got e-mail from Sports Authority today saying they've credited my account and I DON'T have to return the shoes. So now I have a free pair of Merrel shoes!
Alan still needs a black pair for the winter. I guess I'll go to Nordstroms.
