Last night while Alan drank his bottle I put the TV on. The CMA (country music awards were on). I'm not into country music but figured it was baby safe. We enjoyed 2 songs - one was a duet by Dolly Parton and a brunette woman on a slow song and then George Straight did Honk if you honky tonk (I could picture line dancing to that).

Off went the lights, we snuggled a bit and I put Alan in the crib partially asleep and I left the room.

Around 11 PM Alan woke up. DH got him. We decided all 3 of us would sleep in the master bedroom tonight in the bed. And we did. It worked pretty well. DH didn't get stuffed up. I got up twice, once to go the bathroom and around 5 when a fax (junk one) came in - the fax/speakerphone is by our bed.

DH doesn't know much about attachment parenting, but he really loves co-sleeping with Alan :)

that's great! it's always so nice to wake up snuggling w/ your babe.

steve's not much into sleeping w/ the kids anymore. it's because we have a small bed. so i'm begging for a king size for christmas.

i keep telling him, as much as he doesnt like it...ben and joaquin DO like it twice as much. :D

we start out alone in the bed, but usually by 2:00 1 or both kids are in bed w/ us. this has been a great compromise for us all.

King will be great

We fit fine in a queen size, but had a king size bed when we stayed in hotel in florida when Alan was 5 months old. We felt like an ARMY could have stayed with us. It was great!
