Blech

Alan definitely had a bug of some kind. Why? I got it last night. Woke up nauseaous and sweating in the middle of the night. Peto bismol helped in the AM along with ginger ale and coffee. Feel better now.

I let the cat in the bedroom last night as he was meowing at 2 AM. DH was asleep in the other bedroom...and I didn't feel well enough to chase Moxie. So for the first time in a very long time (DH doesn't like the cat in the bedroom) Moxie slept with Alan and I (Alan was in bed with me at that point). Just as he used to, he slept by my head. (Inky used to sleep by my feet). Moxie was a good boy, I miss having a cat to sleep with.

Moxie's asked for more attention since Inky's gone. I guess he misses her, but he seems to be taking it in stride. I do think he and Alan will be buddies. He does tolerate Alan's petting of him. (Alan has tried to pick him up yet.)

Ugh - it's bad enough when your child is sick, but it's doubly hard when you aren't feeling good either. I hope both of you recover soon.

Alan seemed ok this AM (maybe a little tired). Me I'm still feeling blah - have a document to do for tommorrow and can't get into it. Want to go home and nap.
