Baby Clothes Thoughts

Alan's clothes tend to ride up when he's lifted up or when he crawls.
On top I can put on a onesie to keep his stomach warm.
There doesn't seem to be a good solution for his pants to keep his lower legs warm.
I was thinking why don't they design something to solve this problem.
Either:

Pants with feet (like blanket sleeper feet or just stretchy feet
Or take sweatpants type material and permanently attach a sock to the bottom (so it looks like sweats with socks)
Or even do a stirrup type pant - the strap could be tucked in socks or between sock and shoe.

I wish I could sew :(

Heck, I got excited my MIL bought Connor this two piece pj set that had snaps to button the top to the bottoms. It'd be nice to have socks do the same thing, too!

Carter's makes them also. I should have gotten Alan one at the KRU closing sale. Maybe they'll still have PJ's for a while.

old navy makes pants with feet in them that are the same thickness as a tshirt so you could easily put them under pants... I believe they make them up to 24 months. Other than that, I would just put a pair of black or white cotton or wool tights on him, I know they're girly but most people would just think they were socks.

I put my kids, yes even the boys, in cable knit tights! They just looked like socks, but when the pants rode up in the cold, there wasn't a chubby little leg exposed at the top!

Maybe Alan was on to something when he was playing with the tights on the rack at gymboree the other day!
