Over the weekend I was getting a iced vanilla coffee (yum) at Dunkin Donuts. Someone in front of me ordered a small hazelnut with *5* sugars.

Someone likes their coffee very sweet!!!!

How do other people like their coffee?

Let's see:

Friday - went to Reading, PA. DH's meeting went well, Alan and I went exploring. There were a few outlets in "downtown" Reading, but all that interested me was an Old Navy one, but I could do just as well at the clearance racks at the local ones :) Then we were at the VF outlets. I didn't get a lot of time there, found 2 shirts for Alan, but would go back there for him when he's older, and me when I can try on things (jeans). We also found a cool "grocery outlet" www.ameliasgroceryoutlet.com and a superwalmart supermarket on our trip (we like walmarts with supermarkets, but there are none in NJ, just a few larger Walmarts.)

Saturday - we stopped a at few garage sales. DH keeps thinking we can get a car seat at one, I keep saying NO WAY! But we found a walker (to be used, supervised, I know they are a possible hazzard), a toy and a book. I saw lots of girl clothes, NO boy clothes :( We also went to Verona Park (where we met 5 years ago) and walked around with Alan and a friend. Yet another bathroom with no changing table in the park :( There was also someone out with their parrot and I took a photo with the parrot on Alan's stroller. I guess the parrot was visiting its duck/geese relatives . Saturday night we vegged and crashed, Dh was tired.

Sunday was a long day. First we had to go the funeral of a friend's father. We didn't know the father, but our friend doesn't have a lot of close friends, so it was good we went. At the graveside there was something odd - his family are conservative/orthodox jews ( DH and I were rasied reform and aren't very religous) - and they had people shovel the dirt over the grave as a last act of kindness. It was weird. DH and I did shovel once as it was the right thing to do. We then went back to a nearby hotel for food (kosher bagels and fish) and then back to my MILs to get Alan who had been very good and had a good time.

Then we had to go later to a funeral home visitation. A friend of my mother-in-laws lost her 37 year old daughter suddenly to diabetes (found passed away in her house alone). We went to the funeral home, leaving Alan with a nearby friend. My MIL was also going, so she couldn't sit. This was very sad as her life was celebrated with photos in the funeral parlor. It was also an open coffin, we barely looked :( My MIL's friend was happy we came though.

So now it's Monday and my 41st birthday (I'm that OLD!) Got cards from DH and Alan and will go to Chinese buffet tonight (YUM!)

Thanks
